WHAT IS Excalibur Con?
Formerly called Teeb Con, Excalibur Con is a jointly run pop culture and tabletop gaming convention that is a celebration of comics, toys, TV, film, art, cosplay, games, handmade creative content, and all things nerdy. If you're a fan of Marvel, DC, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Anime, Sci-fi, fantasy worlds, Dungeons & Dragons, LEGO, Disney, Star Trek, Power Rangers, Game of Thrones, Warhammer, Pokémon, Magic the Gathering you'll probably fit right in at Excalibur Con.

The convention will take place at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC) in Duluth, MN
WHO IS BEHIND Excalibur Con?
The event is run by the MNSWCA.org & a local gaming collective in the northland. MNSWCA.org is a local non-profit sci-fi and fantasy focused group that works with local gaming, collecting, and general nerd groups and community volunteers.
WHO IS COMING TO Excalibur Con?
Special guests including content creators, celebrity guests, and local personalities will be in attendance at the event. Watch the MNSWCA.org site for more information.
WILL A CELEBRITY GUEST SIGN MY ITEMS?
Typically, our celebrity guests are happy to sign items that you bring from home. There may be an additional charge for certain items, and there may be specific items that some celebs are not willing to sign at all. Please do not bring any weapons for them to sign that would violate our prop weapon policy. We also suggest bringing cash as some celebrities may not take other forms of payment.
HOW CAN I GO TO Excalibur Con?
You can purchase tickets through our website and ticketing site. Tickets, if available, will be sold on site but we recommend pre-purchasing for easier entry into the event.
CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE CONVENTION CENTER?
Yes, you can buy tickets on-site, but certain ticket packages may be sold out and unavailable on-site.
WHAT ABOUT KIDS TICKETS?
Kids tickets are required for ages 5-13 (under 5 are free with paid adult) and they’re good for the whole weekend.
IS THE DECC ACCESSIBLE?
The DECC is highly accessible for people with disabilities and limited mobility. The facility includes locations for easy curbside drop-off outside of the convention center and wheelchair-accessible elevators and bathrooms. There is more info on the DECC website.
ARE ASL INTERPRETERS AVAILABLE?
At this time, we are unable to provide ASL interpreters. This is a need for our event and we would appreciate local agencies that could provide this service to be involved. Contact us for more information on how to do so.
ARE SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED?
The DECC welcomes working guide and service animals into all public areas of the building. For the safety of our visitors, comfort animals, therapy animals, companion animals, or emotional support animals are only allowed at the event if they are trained to perform a specific task for an individual with a disability.
I'M A MEMBER OF PRESS; HOW CAN I GET ACCESS TO Excalibur Con?
Press members can receive a one day pass upon request and approval. A written submission of such a request can be made to MNSWCA.org via email at mnswca@gmail.com. If granted, you will be notified via email and a daily pass will be left at will call. There are a limited number of such passes, and will be available on a first-come, first serve basis, and as approved by the MNSWCA.org.
IS THER PARKING AT EXCALIBUR CON/THE DECC?
There is ample parking (for a fee) at the DECC. The venue is also conveniently tied into the downtown Duluth skywalk system and low/no cost parking is available throughout downtown Duluth.
IS THERE A HOTEL NEARBY THAT I CAN STAY AT?
The official room block for the event is at the Radisson Harborview. Rooms can be booked through the room block link.
