1. Get your tickets online and have the code handy to pick up your badge - or our equivalent
2. Check map and schedules before attending
3. Stay hydrated, take your time walking through, check out the sensory room to decompress and not get over stimulated, snack throughout the day!

Tip #1 Don't rush through the vendors and booths. Vendors have a variety of items and what is displayed may change through the day with new and different things that weren't there before. Coming back to a vendor more than once may provide you a chance to find something unique that was not there before.
Tip #2 Cosplayers put a lot of time, passion and pride in their work. It never hurts to ask for pictures, but try not to touch their cosplay as some items may be fragile.
Tip #3 Extra socks. You are on your feet for a good part of your day. Half way through your day head to the bathroom, freshen up, change your socks, and you will feel much more comfortable walking around.
Tip #4 Cash is an excellent option of payment to have available. Cell service indoors can be up and down at times, meaning card readers may be slow. Cash can help if you are in need.
Tip #5 Take a break and hydrate. It may seem simple, but ones in cosplay, or taking part in events can work up a sweat. Take a break throughout the day, hydrate, and recharge.
Tip #6 Gaming pavilion etiquette. Look but don't touch. Figures, cards, dice and so much more look awesome. The tournaments take place and it's crucial to leave their items in place for the player only to move. Some Vendors may have options of those to look through if you are wanting a closer look at different items.

I don't have many tips or tricks. I have only been to TC con one time. I guess staying hydrated and bringing a water bottle would be it.
